Best Wooden Pull Along Toys for Toddlers
Pull Along Toys for Babies and Toddlers Promote Physical Growth and Balance
Pull along toys are one of the next steps in helping a child develop balance and coordination after they learn how to walk. Once they are old enough to get past the stage where they need to pull themselves up and hold onto something to keep their balance, pulling something behind them while they stay upright is the next step in becoming stronger walkers.
These affordable and delightful wooden toys will stand up to (pun intended) all of the wear and tear of following behind a precocious toddler as they discover their world on two legs. They are made from sturdy natural wood, and their wheels have wide bases to keep them from tipping over.
The more advanced toys come in multiple parts which help both hand-eye coordination and balance as your child has to keep them together as they walk.
Melissa & Doug Frolicking Frog Toy
Boundless fun will accompany your toddler with this friendly wooden froggie pull toy. When pulled by its string, it playfully “hops” up and down with wiggling eyes, which adds to the excitement of those early steps. Brightly painted with non-toxic paint.

Toys from Our Childhood
When I was a child, wooden toys were the norm, not the exception like they are today. One of my childhood pull toys which lasted through my own childhood, my brother’s and my sister’s, was a beagle dog pull toy that was made out of wood.
When my children were born, I found that same toy made out of plastic which was so much less durable that we didn’t even buy it for them.
Now wooden toys are becoming even more popular again due to their durability and the fact that they are made from natural wood, less harmful to babies’ and toddlers’ delicate systems.
These toys are non-toxic, and will stand up to the test of time, just like the beagle that I played with in my childhood. Children that are prone to chewing and biting toys will not come to harm, and other than a few teeth marks, the toys will last and last, too.

Why Choose Natural or Organic Materials for Baby Toys?
Organic products are often more expensive than standard commercial products, so why choose organic?
Most consumers that choose organic would tell you that they do so for better health. Staying healthy has become much more than just not getting sick like it was in our parents’ generation. Now staying healthy means building a healthy lifestyle through eating right, choosing the environment we live in, and exercising to stay fit.
Studies have shown over the years that people absorb both good and bad substances through their largest organ, the skin, therefore taking care as to what touches our skin is crucial. Our health as adults often is determined by what happens to us as children, and starting infants off with organic skincare is a good way to keep them as healthy as possible.
Babies’ immune systems can be compromised before they even develop properly by chemicals and poisons in the environment. By using organic we can keep these negative influences to a minimum, ensuring that their adult lives will be that much more healthy.
