What is a real Chicago Pizza like?

If you are from the west coast you are probably wondering what a Chicago pizza tastes like?  What is Chicago pizza you wonder?  Well a Chicago style pizza is usually more of a pie.  In fact, when someone asks me what is Chicago pizza; the answer is often “delicious!”  The difference in styles is in the pizza dough recipe.  The Chicago pizza is a pizza pie, not the flat pizza crust or dough that you may be used to if you’re living in area on the west or east coasts of the United States.  East coast and West Coast pizza are both made with a flat pizza crust versus the Chicago pizza.

My two favoritesChicago Pizza is a popular Chicago pizza company with five locations in the Chicago area. They are known for not only having incredible deep dish pizza recipes but they also have a variety of things on the menu including gluten-free items. They have multiple pasta salad and green salad varieties as well gourmet sandwiches, paninis, juicy burgers and more. If you want to know what is on the Chicago pizza menu you can visit their website; unfortunately they are only located in Illinois.
