The Mighty Oak
THE MIGHTY OAK
The mighty oak so big and strong.
You stand as a king among the trees.
Heralding your majesty for all to see.
You are grand in your stature.
As though you are saying, “Look at me!”
Your leaves turn from green to gold.
Then are no more.
But only for a season.
Then you once again begin your reign.
