Fun Halloween Cookie Recipes

Halloween cookie recipes are fun to make and of course everyone loves eating them.  There is plenty of room for creativity with Halloween cookie recipes.  Halloween cookies are great for after school snacks for the kids, for a bake sale, or to take to a Halloween party.  Have some ready in the freezer for when unexpected guests drop by.

Back in the day when people handed out homemade treats for Halloween, my Grandma handed out applesauce cookies.  I always associate Grandma’s applesauce cookies with Halloween, so I’m including them here with the Halloween cookie recipes.  If you’d like to try something with an old fashioned appeal, try these applesauce cookies.  You can dress them up with orange and brown M&Ms, orange colored sugar, or orange and black jimmies to make them look more Halloween themed or they are delicious as is.

Keep your Halloween cookie recipes in one of these binders. Recipe binders are a great for keeping your recipes all in one place. If you are one of those people (like me) who has recipes jotted down on scraps of paper and clipped out of newspapers and scattered all over the place, you need a recipe binder! I love mine and now all my recipes are in one place. I can always find the one I want because it’s in my recipe binder! You can slip the newspaper clippings ones into a page protector and you will at least know where they are!

A page protector in a recipe binder is a great place to save recipes that you want to try.  If you like the recipe after you try it, you can give it it’s own page.  If not, just chuck it.  But until you’re ready to try it, it will be safe in your recipe binder!  These fall themed recipe binders are so pretty!

Back it goes into the recipe binder for next time. I always know where to find my recipes. Zazzle has thousands of recipe binders in many different themes.
