Gifts for Cheese Lovers : Gourmet Food Gifts : Specialty Cheeses
Have had a foodie business page on Google Plus for about 5 years. It was created with the goal of linking back and driving traffic to my primary website which has been up and running since 2011. In May 2015 (or thereabouts), G+ decided to give Pinterest some competition by creating “collections”. Similar to Pinterest pinboards but different. (O.o) Can’t explain it. Can say, as an Internet marketer and home biz entrepreneur, it seems like a good business decision, on my behalf, because it gives me more places on social media to share and expand my online presence.
What’s that? Stop rambling and get to the cheese??
So my G+ business page (or brand account), which was initially set up to support my affiliate marketing website, morphed into a stand alone effort. It took on a life of its own, especially when I created Google Plus collections. One of my collections is dedicated to cheese lovers. It’s called “Cheese Meltdown”. It has over 11 thousand followers and that is a clear indicator that … people really love cheese!!
The whole wide world is full of people after my own heart. Want to make me happy? Give me a gourmet cheese gift basket or gourmet cheese in any form for a holiday gift, for my birthday, or any occasion, and it will be graciously received. Bet the folks who follow my G+cheese collection feel the same way.
What about you? Are you a cheese lover?
1st Gift Suggestion : Cheese and Fruit
White Stilton … “among the best-selling blended cheeses in the U.K.” … is suitable for vegetarians, and is a perfect pairing of fruit and cheese. There are four varieties: Cranberry (pictured); apricot; bluberry; lemon; and mango and ginger.
2nd Gift Suggestion : Truffle Cheese Assortment
The assortment includes:
~ Boschetto al Tartufo Bianchetto; blend of sheep’s milk and cow’s milkshavings of rare, white truffle mixed throughout.
~ Gouda with Truffles: gouda with ground Italian Black truffles.
~ Moliterno Black Truffle Pecorino: raw sheep’s milk cheese with black truffles.
~ Perlagrigia with Truffles: a young, fresh tasting cheese, Perlagrigia contains flakes of black truffle.
~ Artisan Truffle and Salt Cheddar by Ballard Dairy, American Cheese Society Award-winner.
3rd Suggestion : Bavarian Cheese
Produced in Bavaria’s Alpine countryside; smooth and mellow with distinct blue veins.
The food gifts above are my picks. But iGourmet has about 100 cheese gift baskets. Cheeses from Italy, France, Germany, Ireland, Greece, Spain, Scandinavia and America. There’s a Vegetarian Lifestyle Gift Basket and other specialty baskets. Click link to view the selection.
