Funny Aprons

Do you wear a kitchen apron when you’re cooking? I do because I’m a messy cook   I always manage to splatter something on my clothes, so I enjoy a bit of kitchen humor by wearing a funny apron.

I believe everyone has their particular habits or idosyncrasies while cooking, one of mine is that I need the kitchen to be spotless before I start cooking. I think the reason for that is because I don’t like looking for a utensil, pan, or dish that I immediately need, and finding it dirty in the dishwasher.

I may start off clean, but my kitchen and I certainly don’t end that way! The kitchen looks like a tornado hit it, and if I don’t wear one of my funny aprons, I’ve got smears and spots of sauce, oil, and food on my blouse. Not a pretty sight (in my opinion) to be sitting at the dining table.
