Best Fruit Salad Recipes

You have to select choice fruits when making a fruit salad recipe because it makes all the difference.   When choosing berries you want to choose berries that are brightly colored and firm.  Avoid choosing berries in boxes that are leaking juices and have signs of bruised fruits and mold.   Organic apples are the best because they do not have that coating on the outside that takes away from the nutrients in the skin.  Select apples that are without bruises and have skin that is not broken or holey.  Apples should be firm to the touch and have consistent color and a pleasant fresh smell.  Store your apples at room temperature and your berries in the refrigerator.

I run a small network of recipe and food information websites, which is the greatest job in the world. You see, as someone with MS and the limitations I have from my illness, regular jobs are few and far between. I am also the mom of four wonderful boys, so food is a big part of our daily lives. I worked in the food industry for many years as a short order cook and mainly as a waitress.
