Blackberries and Spoon

Blackberry jam is my favorite jam or jelly of all time. I think it is because I grew up where there were lots of Himalayan Blackberries growing wild, so making our own jams and jellies from the wild blackberries was like getting free food. Nothing in the world tastes as good with a peanut butter sandwich as blackberry jam or blackberry jelly.

But now I live in a state where the berries of my youth do not grow, so I am forced to make do with store bought jams and jellies. Lucky for me, there are some really tasty products available by mail order! One place I love to get blackberry and other jam from is Thunderbird Mountain Trading Company up in Garberville, California. They have a private label line of jams, jellies, marmalade and preserve called California Mission Farms. There’s a 3 jar minimum order, but I like to go for the larger order and save on shipping.

When I can’t get home made or California Mission Farms jams and jellies, I turn to Amazon.com and order my favorites there. Here are a few that I am particularly fond of. I hope you enjoy them, too!
