Bible Study: You Are a Work Of Art!
Read Isaiah 64:9 (NKJV) “But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand.”
The potter creates whatever he desires with the lump of clay. The clay doesn’t choose what it wants to look like or the purpose it is going to serve. So remember that God created you the way He wanted you to be and called you to serve in the manner He has chosen! Jeremiah 1:5a says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;” How comforting to know that we are exactly the way our Creator intended for us to be. So the next time you think badly about your looks, your personality or your chosen service, remember you are exactly who you were created to be.

Easy Modelling Clay Recipe
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1/4 cup water
(add more water if needed)
I suggest you make the clay from the recipe above and form something from it. It takes folding and squishing and poking and flattening, doesn’t it? It’s not always comfortable being “formed” into God’s image, but oh so worth the pain!

Just to let you know, the verse your quoting from is incorrect, its Isaiah 64:8, not 64:9.
