The Any Book Plus is a device that allows you to read to your children or grandchildren even if you can’t be there. You can record your reading of a book or books to be replayed at a later date.  With Any Book Plus, a parent can record 60 hours of bedtime stories for their children.

This is a wonderful thing for parents who work long hours, parents who maintain separate households, and especially for military parents who are deployed for months at a time. It’s a great way for a deployed parent to stay close to the children.  They could record stories before they leave or they can take Any Book Plus with them and record stories while they are gone and send it back home when it is full.

Maybe the parents are going out for the evening.  They can record a story for the baby sitter to play for the children.  Hearing their parents’ voices makes the children feel more secure and connected to their parents.

Many times grandparents live far away from their grandchildren.  Any Book Plus is a great way to maintain a bond between grandparent and grandchildren.  Even if they don’t live far away, recordings from Grandma and Grandpa would be loved by the children.

If you have a friend or family member who is blind or has low vision, reading to them or talking to them via Any Book Plus would be very appreciated.

Any Book Plus can be used by children to help their reading skills.  They can record their reading and play it back.
Any Book Reader comes with stickers that you can stick on the pages of the books you are recording. They have a special glue that doesn’t damage the books and the stickers can be reused.

Oh I love this! When our son was very little, we traveled south in the winter. So we were on the road for many hours. We fixed up the back seat for crawling space (that was before seat belts) and then I recorded the two of us reading Richard Scarry’s Cars and Trucks and Things That Go. He could hear not only my voice, but his own as well, and he loved loved that recorder. He would follow along with the book. I wish I still had that recorder.
And yes, this would be great when I need to read something for my legally blind husband. Often I have a stack of things waiting to be read. Recording would be so much simpler and convenient.
And a nice way to read to the grandchildren, too. They think they are “too cool and sophisticated” for grandma to read out loud anymore, but I bet they would listen to this at bedtime. Super idea!
