Today is the 10th Anniversary of September 11th 2001 Attacks on USA. It is not very often in a persons life that a single day will hold such significance that you will remember that day, minute for minute 10 years later.

A wedding perhaps, maybe your 21st birthday, or the birth of a child, are all days that will stand out in your life. September 11th 2001 is one of those kinds of days. A day where you just won’t forget the details even 20 or 30 years down the road.

September 11th, 2001 attacks on the USA conjure up ill feelings deep inside the soul of each and every American who lived through that dreadful day. Whether you feel it was a deliberate attack orchestrated by the likes of Osama Bin Laden and his followers, or you might think it was an inside job done by the US government to trigger a call to action and launch attacks on oil rich countries like Iraq, there are some facts about September 11th 2001 that can not be denied. Like the thousands of innocent lives that were lost that day. Over 2,973 people gave their lives on September 11th, 2001. May their souls rest in peace.

USS New York 911 What sets the USS New York apart? Its construction incorporates 7.5 tons of steel salvaged from the ruins of the World Trade Center which fell on September 11, 2001, the victim of terrorist attack.

The USS New York is one of several ships in the San Antonio class of amphibious transport dock ships. They are designed to transport and land troops, supplies, and equipment such as amphibious vehicles and helicopters.

Hijacked planes crashed in New York City in Arlington, Virginia and in Pennsylvania killing 2,973 people on September 11, 2001. The victims were mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers of many faiths and races who came from more than 80 nations.
